JOHOR BAHRU, 2 DECEMBER 2024 - Batik Air proudly announces the commencement of its inaugural direct flight connecting Johor Bahru to Bangkok, introducing an exciting new travel opportunity for passengers in southern Malaysia.

This route expansion marks Batik Air’s latest commitment to enhancing cross-border connectivity and supporting tourism and business travel between Malaysia and Thailand.

The inaugural flight from Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok, received a warm welcome upon its arrival at Senai International Airport yesterday, marking a strengthened connection between these two vibrant cities.

Batik Air Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy,said that the direct connection to Bangkok represents asignificant milestone in Batik Air’s strategic expansion into keyASEAN destinations.

“The Johor Bahru–Bangkok route is expected to benefit Johor’seconomy significantly by fostering new opportunities fortourism, trade, and investment.
